About Us
Collins Botiuk is a London-based disputes practice founded in 2025 by James Collins and Yuri Botiuk. Between them, they have over 40 years of experience in litigation and international arbitration, gained at firms including Herbert Smith, Debevoise & Plimpton, Dechert, Reid Minty, McGrigors, Pinsent Masons and CANDEY.
Before founding Collins Botiuk, James and Yuri worked together for eight years as partners at CANDEY, a leading litigation boutique, which was named Litigation Boutique of the Year at The Lawyer Awards 2025.
We act in complex commercial disputes before the English courts and in international arbitration. Many of our instructions come from other lawyers and law firms (both in the UK but typically overseas) whose clients require English law advice or representation in London-seated arbitrations or English High Court proceedings. We often act as co-counsel or as the UK arm of international legal teams. The integration with foreign counsel is seamless.
Our fundamental goal is to achieve the best possible results for our clients.
